Drawings of Corridor

I sat in the corridor at college and drew the corridor i started by sketching it out then i went onto doing it in just one line, this was hard when i was trying to get the perspective right.

2 minute, 10 line drawing. this was sketched out, there was several lines for one line, my eye level is to high on this one.

5 minute, detailed drawing. I sketched this drawing, i did several lines for one line, so you could really see what was going on, i also pressed to hard on the pencil in placed that made the lines to dark that wasnt needed.

2 minute line drawing. This is were i started to draw just justing one line, this was hard because i had to just my full arm, the perspective isnt right, my lines are all going to different places.

On this drawing i decided to do draw the doors closer to me, the eye level is to high looks like im looking down on this drawing.

In this drawing i got the perspective right and the eye level right, it wasnt in proportion the height of the corridor its high enough.

In this drawing i got the perspective and eye levewl right, but the height isnt right its not long enough.

This is my final drawing of the corridor, i got the perspective and eye level right, the width and height is right, i added my detail to this drawing it was quite hard to do the windows on the side because i was underneath them.

  1. nice development. Make sure you keep up momentum – draw at every opportunity. Maybe try tofill the sketchbook before your interview?

could you make some reflective comments on your progress – what do you feel you need to explore more? how are you going to go about it? how is it going to help your development of specialist skills to support your aim to progress into architecture? etc etc
