Sketches of Building

I chose to go and draw the the building over looking the car park at college, it started off quite hard to get the perspective right of the windows and the actual building, i tryed out different drawing media in this set of drawings.

This is my first drawing, i got the perspective right of the building but not the windows, i put to much pressure on the pencil in places. I also did some windows to big or to small.

In this drawing i included more of  the two buildings, but i concentrated more on the windows and doors and not on the perspective, it looks like one straight building.

In this drawing i got the perspective right of the building and nearly on the windows, i also included the cars in this drawing but i put to much pressure on the pencil on the road markings.

In this drawing i tryed out using a pen, i got the perspective off the buildings right but i found it hard on the windows. i also found it hard with the pen because you couldnt change the darkness and pressure of the pen of different lines.

Thus is my final pencil drawing, i got the perspective and the building and the windows right, i added more detail on to the windows and the building.

In this drawing i used ink, i applied the ink with cardboard, i liked this technique because you got the lines straight but you had to get the perspective right on my first go, to help me with this i used masking tape as a guide.
